The first time I traveled there, it took me six months of planning—I’m a research queen and always strive to find the best ways to navigate new places so I can return sooner and at a lower cost. This time, it only took me 10 days, and before I knew it, I was on a plane with my three children, heading to a place my soul calls “home.” Stepping foot on the motherland has been a dream of mine since childhood. It’s an experience that I believe everyone should have the chance to experience.
While there are many beautiful countries in Alkebulan (Africa), my soul finds its home in Tanzania.
