All questions submitted by BravoTV.com I honestly didn’t think in a million years she would realize the damage her comments and lies made Bravotv.com: Were you surprised that Ashley apologized to you on the bus ride to Gizelle’s father’s birthday party? Monique Samuels: I was very surprised to receive an apology from Ashley. I honestly didn’t think in a million years she would realize the damage her comments and lies made, so I’m grateful she came to the realization she came to. Sometimes you don’t realize how your actions impact people until you’re put into a similar situation. The apology was very sincere and I’m the type of person who tries not to rehash after I’ve forgiven someone. I’m ready to move forward. I never thought I would be this open to Ashley again. We’ll tip toe forward and see what happens. Bravotv.com: You ladies had a lot of fun in New Orleans, but tensions were especially high between Candiace and Ashley and Karen and Gizelle. What were your thoughts on those ongoing issues? MS: I was so over the drama and just wanted us to enjoy our time. This trip was filled with some really important moments, like walking the plantation — that showed us there’s more to life than bickering. I just hope they can handle their issues and move on. Bravotv.com: You kept up with the ladies during this trip, pregnant and all! But it looked super exhausting by the end. What were the highs and lows of the trip for you? MS: I had a great time with the ladies. The pregnancy kept me away from everyone for a bit so it was nice to get away and have girl time. The highs of my trip were watching them let loose for once. Sometimes in the past I felt the ladies were very stuffy and didn’t know how to have fun. It was nice to see everyone actually let their guards down and enjoy! The low for me was the high temperature mixed with a growing belly! The New Orleans heat caught up with me in the end!
